INTRUST offers excellent insurance benefits for eligible employees. Detailed information
concerning insurance coverage and costs is available from the Human Resources department.
A summary of the types of insurance INTRUST offers is provided below.
- Health and Dental Insurance. We have flexible health care plans that offer
coverage for major medical, wellness/preventive health care and prescriptions with
a variety of deductibles and co-pays to meet each employee's individual needs. The
dental insurance covers a major portion of preventive dental care costs and a percentage
of major dental care expenses. INTRUST pays a large portion of the monthly health
and dental insurance premiums for employees.
- Cancer Insurance. Also available to employees at a discounted rate, this
insurance assists with the indirect, or “out of pocket,” expenses that typically
accompany cancer treatment and care.
- Flex Benefit Plan. This plan allows employees to pay, with pre-tax dollars,
their portion of insurance premiums, as well as the option of establishing accounts
for reimbursement of certain medical, dependent care and parking expenses on a pre-tax
basis.
- Life Insurance. Coverage is paid for by the bank and is provided for all
full- and part-time employees after completing a certain period of employment.
- Long-term Disability Insurance. Provided by INTRUST for all full-time employees,
this insurance allows the employee to continue receiving a portion of their salary
when a long-term illness or disability prevents them from working.
- Workers Compensation. The bank pays the full cost of insurance covering eligible
on-the-job injuries.
