Overdraft Protection Services
An overdraft occurs when you don't have enough money in your account to cover a
transaction, but we pay it anyway. Considering the alternative, it's best to have
coverage and never need it than to be caught without it, because we can't help with
most of these services unless you opt in or enroll ahead of time. We can cover your
overdrafts in two different ways:
- Overdraft protection plans are available
options to our checking accounts. These options include linking a checking account
to a savings account, a credit card or an overdraft line of credit, and they may
be less expensive than our standard overdraft practices. Learn more and apply.
- Standard overdraft service (INTRUST Bounce
Blocker) automatically applies to your checking account. This service permits the
bank to authorize and pay overdrafts at its discretion for: checks and other transactions
made using your checking account number (so called ACH transactions). INTRUST, at
its discretion, may pay any ATM or debit card transaction into overdraft
if you have opted for this service. Bounce Blocker permits us to help
you cover an unexpected expense or avoid the embarrassment that may be caused by
a recordkeeping error. Of course, paying an overdraft does not obligate us to pay
future overdrafts. Learn More | Opt In
