David oversees trust administration and helps ensure every trust relationship is managed with care, consistency, and strong fiduciary standards. He works closely with families and institutions to safeguard assets, honor long-term intentions, and navigate the details that come with complex estate plans, including account administration, trust provisions, and tax-related considerations.
With more than 20 years of legal experience supporting INTRUST, its wealth clients, and their investments, David brings a practical, risk-aware perspective to fiduciary services. He evaluates the risks that come with trust administration and investment advisory work, then provides guidance that helps teams manage those risks and maintain compliance. For clients, that means greater confidence that decisions are well-grounded, documentation is handled appropriately, and administration stays on track, especially when circumstances change or questions arise.
David also provides tax law guidance on issues that affect client accounts, helping clients and internal teams anticipate implications and avoid surprises. He earned his undergraduate degree from Washburn University and his law degree from the Washburn University School of Law, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
He is active in his local church and serves as chair of the Endowment Investment Committee for Quivira Council, Boy Scouts of America.
