Grant Paitz, CFA®

Senior Investment Strategist

Grant Paitz brings a disciplined, research-driven approach to helping clients and colleagues make well-supported investment decisions. He helps craft investment strategies grounded in risk management, tax awareness, behavioral dynamics, and performance, so clients can feel confident in both the strategy and the stewardship behind it. Grant is especially motivated by the responsibility that comes with serving as a fiduciary.

Grant began his career as a database programmer at a local bank. He later became a bank officer with responsibilities spanning IT leadership and infrastructure, including server virtualization and cloud work. That technical foundation strengthens his ability to apply analysis, data management, and practical problem-solving to market and economic questions, and to identify ways technology can support better stewardship of clients’ dollars.

Grant earned a double major in Management Information Systems and Information Technology from Newman University. He holds the CIMA designation and is a CFA Level III candidate.

He currently serves on the Kansas Bankers Association Trust Board and previously served for a decade with the Young Bank Officers of Kansas, including as president. Grant coaches with League 42, has volunteered with Read to Succeed, and helped build a school-based financial literacy program through a JAG-K partnership. He and his wife have been married 19 years and have three children and a large dog. He enjoys playing piano, golfing, video games, and family road trips, with 48 states and more than 20 national parks checked off so far.
