Greg leads INTRUST Wealth’s investment strategy and direction with more than 25 years of experience in institutional investment management. His understanding of portfolio construction, credit analysis, and risk management allows him to work closely with advisors and strategists to guide investment decisions that balance attractive returns with disciplined oversight.
Throughout his career, Greg has worked with a wide range of institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, and even sovereign entities, helping them navigate complex market cycles and make informed decisions. He’s known for his ability to translate technical investment concepts into clear, actionable insights, and he blends strategic vision with collaboration and market insight to deliver strong outcomes and build long-term trust.
Greg earned a BS in Economics and Business Administration from Trinity University and an MBA from the University of Kansas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and previously held a CPA license in Texas, which continues to inform his analytical approach. His professional background includes managing high-yield fixed income portfolios, launching investment products through national and international roadshows, and presenting strategies to boards and consultants across the country.
He serves as President of the West Point Parents Club of Greater Kansas City, a role that holds personal meaning as two of his sons currently attend U.S. Service Academies. He also serves as Treasurer for the Valor Partners Foundation and the Climate + Energy Project and has held leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America. He and his wife Elizabeth have five sons, four of whom are Eagle Scouts, with the youngest working to finish his scouting project. Greg enjoys woodworking, running, and attending intimate live music performances, finding creativity and connection in each.
