Matt partners with individuals and families as they navigate major life transitions and plan for what matters next. He is often introduced to clients during pivotal moments that can bring both practical decisions and strong emotions, and he is valued for being present, steady, and thoughtful as a sounding board and planning partner.
His specialty is comprehensive planning for high-net-worth households, with an emphasis on legacy planning and tax planning. He also helps clients evaluate asset protection considerations and use efficient asset location strategies so their resources work harder over time. Clients benefit from this approach through clearer priorities, more confident decisions, and a plan that aligns time, energy, and money with the outcomes they want to create for themselves and the people they love.
Matt holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses. He attended Friends University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In spare time, he volunteers at the Kansas Human Society and participates in Habitat for Humanity builds.
He and his wife, MaeLauren, enjoy supporting NewSpring Church and the organizations it helps through Project Generosity. He also enjoys bike rides, nature walks with his family, and time on the golf course.
