Meet the New Leadership of INTRUST Wealth and Retirement

We’re proud to announce that Greg Murphy has been named Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer of INTRUST Wealth and Retirement, effective September 1, 2026. Greg succeeds Troy Jordan, who will retire in April 2027 after more than three decades with the business.
Joe White will become Principal – Wealth and Retirement, overseeing daily operations and the senior management team. Troy will serve in an advisory role through his retirement to support the transition. Together, these changes reflect our focus on continuity, team-based leadership, and long-term investment in the business. Clients should continue to expect the same advisors, service teams, and relationship-based approach they know today.

“For more than 30 years, Troy has been instrumental in helping build our wealth and retirement team into the thriving business it is today,” said Sam Chandler, INTRUST Bank President. “Through his passion and steadfast commitment to our clients, employees, and community, he has helped cultivate an outstanding team and culture dedicated to exceptional service. We are grateful for his leadership and lasting impact. Greg and Joe share that same passion and commitment, and I am excited to see them lead this outstanding team as they continue helping clients plan, invest, and make important financial decisions with confidence.”
Building on a Strong Investment Foundation
Greg joined INTRUST in 2025 as Principal – Chief Investment Officer, bringing more than 25 years in institutional investment management, where he set investment strategy and led teams responsible for large, complex portfolios. In his new role, he will lead strategy and direction across Wealth and Retirement while continuing as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing a disciplined investment process and serving as a visible voice for the business in the community.
“I see myself as a steward of what Troy and so many others have helped build,” Greg said. “INTRUST Wealth has been serving families, businesses, and institutions for more than a century, and that history brings both perspective and responsibility. My job is to keep investing in the people, expertise, and relationships that allow us to serve clients well today and for generations to come.”
Three Decades of Putting Clients First

Troy has been with INTRUST since 1996 and has guided Wealth and Retirement through a significant period of growth, aligning wealth management and retirement into one comprehensive client experience.
“Seeing the business grow from a fraction of its size in the mid-90s to where it is today is a testament to those who have spent those years focused on being the best we can be for our clients,” Troy said. “Most importantly, I want to thank the thousands of clients and families who have trusted us to be their partner in some of life’s most important decisions. That trust has made this growth possible, and it’s truly humbling. I have great confidence in Greg, Joe, and the teams around them. We have the right people in place to keep growing what we’ve built, and I’m excited to watch this next chapter unfold.”
A Consistent Service Experience
Joe joined INTRUST in 2017. He has most recently led a collaborative team of advisors, strategists, bankers, and administrators delivering personalized service. In his new role, he will oversee the Wealth and Retirement senior management team and focus on operations across the business.
"What sets this business apart is our coordinated team and the relationships they build every day,” Joe said. “Our clients stay with us because we take the time to understand their goals, families, and what they are working to build. My focus will be protecting and strengthening that experience, so clients keep receiving the service and trust they expect from INTRUST.”
